Crop Tool Hang & graphics processor settings disabled in Photoshop on Windows

As an when i open an image that i have edited in camera raw and try to use the crop tool, photoshop hangs. The only way to close it us using the task manager. 

Also, the graphic processor settings is greyed out. So neither can I check the box nor can I select advanced settings!

What model computer are you using, does it meet the photoshop system requirements?

Have you restarted your CPU, you may have some software corruption hanging out in your RAM.
