Cut & Paste > Free Transform

This is a problem only since the June Photoshop CC update.

When I cut an paste an object from one photoshop image to another, the paste looks fine.  Then when I try to move the pasted object to where I want it in the receiving image via the free transform, the object moves as desired...but...an imge of the object also remains where it first landed.  Thus I end up with two images.

The attached is an example of what I'm explaining.  This is a picture of some flowers that I parted a monarch butterfly on to and then tried to re-size.  As you can see, a ghost image remains after I tried to move it.

I have deleted and reinstalled Photoshop and the problem persists.

And suggestions on how to fix this?

Thanks you.
