Good day everyone,

I want to use PS mainly for embedding a digital signature in my macro photos.

For editing my photos I use the Nikon app.

What should I purchase from PhotoShop for this purpose?

Do you want to add metadata or watermark or even something else? Please provide more details or some samples if possible.

Hi Bojan,

I was wrong when I wrote digital signature. What are the recommended steps to make a signature which I can add as watermark in my photos?

Thank you.

One way would be:

Open a copy of your logo (or copyright notice or whatever you want the watermark to be) in Photoshop. With the Rectangular Marquee Tool, select around it. Then go Edit>Define Brush Preset.

You now have a Photoshop brush of your watermark which you can stamp onto any image. Remember you can adjust the opacity slider as needed. You might want it to be more transparent at times.

Depends on which apps you will be using. Ultimately it's your choice.

Presumably you'd prefer the cheapest plan. All plans include exactly the same version of Photoshop.

  1. PS Standalone US$20.99/month
  2. PS LR Photography Plan US$9.99/month
  3. All Apps US$52.99/month

The Photography Plan is the obvious choice for people who only want Photoshop. It also gives you Lightroom but you don't have to use it.
