Drop downs expand too long, how to avoid scrolling?

When I open very long drop down menus such as "Layer" on the top toolbar, there are so many options there that you have to scroll up or down to see them all. I've already reduced my font size to "tiny" in the UI options. Is there any way to make the menu that opens even smaller, or more compact? Sometimes I can't find the tools I'm looking for and then I realize it's because I need to scroll down. This is a new problem, by the way, it didn't use to be like this before updates.

Everything outside this is a case of "May work, but is officially not supported." and your computer seems to fit that bill with its low screen resolution.

I'm not following. My computer more than meets the requirements as I've been using these programs for many years. I'm just wondering about the expanded drop down menus.

I measured the Layers menu and it is so tall that it even exceeds the 800 pixel minimum height in the Photoshop system requirements (your screen is 768 pixels tall so it doesn’t even meet the minimum).

One thing you might consider is to shorten the menu by removing menu commands you don’t want to see. Choose Edit > Menus, and disable Visibility for any Layer menu commands you never need.

On my Mac I often use Home/End/Page Up/Page Down keys to look at menus that are too tall for the screen, but I’m not sure if that works in Windows.

The menu is long because as a professional application, it contains many features that are not found on other applications, and is typically used on much larger displays. The Layer menu doesn’t reach anywhere close to the bottom on my display. But it can be too long for smaller laptop displays.

Are you on a Small Screen Notebook? Looks like it.

Maybe attatch a bigger screen with higher resolution?

This is on a 24" 1920 x 1200 display.
