Drop Shadow not working

Hey all,

      Just working with the latest release and I can't get the Drop Shadow to work on my image.  I have the preview selected and all but the shadow is not showing up.  Also, yes, the shadow is black and my background is white, so I know the coloring is correct.

What operating system are you using?

Can you post a screenshot(s) showing your settings, layers and image?

As Jeff_Arola indicated we so far do not know about the Layers’ structure and transparencies or the Drop Shadow settings (Opacity, Blend Mode etc.) so please provide meaningful information in the form of the requested screenshot.

Hey guys... it was my fault.  I was resizing the canvas and then applied the drop shadow.  The drop shadow was applied to the entire canvas. 

I found that, if I applied the drop shadow and then resized the canvas, afterwards, everything worked fine.
