duplicating 3d layer issue

Hello all, I am somewhat newish to photoshop and im trying to duplicate a 3d layer after editing materials and location on the 3d grid. but when i duplicate the layer it shows up way off of where it should be showing up. are my settings wrong what is going on.

Hi

There are multiple ways to duplicate a layer, and you did not say what method you are using. Try this:

1. Select the layer in the Layers panel
2. Cmd+J (or Ctrl+J in Windows)

What steps have you been using? Can you show a screen shot?
