Editing saved paths still not working, it only creates new points and does not connect or close. Only work around is to have a working path in the next layer and everything connects or closes. Any advice? On PS version 22.3.1, Mac Os Mojave, 10.14.6.
What does »a working path in the next layer« mean exactly?
Just maintaining a Work Path does not seem that hard to me, if you disagree you’d have to roll Photoshop back to Photoshop 22.somerhing.something, I guess.
The bug has gone unfixed in Photoshop 22.3.1, so let’s hope for 22.3.2 …
It's a known issue with V22.3.1 IME, and from advice from @davescm you need to keep the first workpath, and subsequent paths can then be made and edited.
