Error Message HELP: DynamicLink Media Server is not available

I'm trying to import a video clip into photoshop (photoshop 2020) to make a GIF for a customer.   I keep getting the following error message:

Could not open  ________  because the DynamicLink Media Server is not available.

Computer specs:

iMac Pro 2017

MacOS Catalina 10.15.4

3.2 GHz 8-Core Intel Xeon W

32 GB memory

Graphics - Radeon Pro Vega 56 8 GB 

things I've tried:

1. Updating all software.
2. restarting computer.
3. uninstall/re-install photoshop
4. uninstall/re-install all creative cloud applications
5. uninstall all creative cloud applications and re-installing only photoshop

Any help would be appreciated.

Same problem here. Issue is still not resolved! Still can't open any video file in Photoshop!
