Error message "no valid asset to export"

All of a sudden I am getting this error message "no valid asset to export" when trying to export my photo on photoshop. I have restarted.

Additional information would help us help you. A screen capture of Photoshop's Windows and all of its UI pallets when you get the massage.  Your Operating system and version your Photoshop version and any additional information you feel is pertinent

Have you tried resetting the Photoshop Preferences?

I am having the same issue regularly (fixed once in a while when Adobe releases update). And searching about this I found this issue has been on-going since 2018 with no real solution offered.
