Could not open “_05A9882.DNG” because it is not a valid Photoshop document.
I am getting this message when I try to open a file from Bridge into 2021 photoshop or from my external hard drive in new 2021 Photoshop.
The same file opens fine in Lightroom Classic and photoshop 2020 so I know it is not corrupted. I can see the file name in the bar at the top of photoshop and the history shows it as opening and the layers panel show it as a background layer and will let me unlock it an make a duplcate layer but no image shows up on the screen.
I'm on a late 2014 Mac running 10.15.7 catalina with an AMD Radeon R9 M290X 2 GB graphics card.
I have 32 GB installed in memory slots and internal hard drive has 618 GB available on fusin drive if any of that matters.
