Error when trying to print

I am currently using PhotoShop 2020 to print picture on my Epson PictureMate PM-400 but I am getting this error 'red circle with an X in it, because the default printer could not be opened'. I have downloaded drivers this morning thinking maybe that was the issue but it didn't fix my issue. I was printing on this printer just 2 days ago and this is my default printer.  Any thoughts?

Try holding the spacebar and choose File > Print to reset the Print dialog.
