European Keyboard Move/Select Layer Up/Down Workaround

For any European keyboard users who can't use the Alt/Opt + [ / ] (or the other variations), I've made an Action Set which includes the following:

• Select Forward Layer (Alt + ])
• Select Backward Layer (Alt + [)
• Add Forward Layer (Alt + Shift + ])
• Add Backward Layer (Alt + Shift + [)
• Move Forward Layer (Ctrl + ])
• Move Backward Layer (Ctrl + [)

Instructions:

1. Download Move One Layer.atn.zip
2. Extract the zip folder's contents (Move One Layer.atn) to Photoshop's *Actions folder
3. Load the ATN file (see image below)
4. Set keyboard shortcuts for each Action in the set, or;
5. For use within an Action of your own:

• Expand the appropriate Action's contents and duplicate the step
• Drag the duplicate step to the correct position within your own Action.

*Actions folder

• Windows: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop [version]\Presets\Actions
• Macintosh: ~Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop [version]/Presets/Actions
