Exporting is slow in Photoshop 2020

Exporting in 2020 is extremely slow - is it me or is anyone else having this issue?

Hi Patrick,

As Export process is slower in the new Photoshop, have you tried updating Photoshop to version 21.0.1 which was released recently?

Also, what format are you exporting out of Photoshop.

You may try resetting the preferences of Photoshop and see if it helps: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html

Note: Make sure that you back up all your custom presets, brushes and actions before restoring Photoshop's preferences. Migrate presets, actions, and settings

I'm definitley up to date with version 21.0.1

Right now I'm exporting to JPG and my preferences seem fine.

Not much is helping.

I have a maxed out 2019 MBP 16" 2.4ghz 8 core i9 with 64gb of RAM with AMD Radeon Pro 8gb and a 2tb SSD. The supposed "Legacy" save for web is sooooo much faster than Export. Export as is so flippin' slow I avoid using it at all costs.
