Hi everyone, hope all is doing good.

When using Eyedropper tool, we can choose to sample the color from:

Current Layer

Current & Below

All Layers

All Layers no Adjustments

Current & Below no Adjustments

Is there way to choose a particular layer to sample color from? Kind of like add in an option that says "Select Layer..." type of thing.

I think I may have asked this question before but am not familiar with any updated information on it, or perhaps it has been submitted as feature request if something like this is not already available?

Maybe somebody knows if something like this is being worked on with Adobe. Thank you for reading.

If you want to select a color from a particular, select Current Layer and use the Layer Panel to select that layer. You want the color from Layer 24, select Layer 24.

Now if you want to see only the Layer you selected and want to hide the other layers so you can clearly see what you are doing on that layer, press Alt or Option (Mac users) and click on the Layer eyeball. It will hide the other layers. Alt-click on that eyeball again to unhide the layers.
