Eyedropper color ring won't show

Hello,

I can't see anymore (I could before, with the same PC and photoshop settings) the ring that previews the sampled color above the current foreground color of the eyedropper tool. (I uploaded a google image to show what I'm referring to).

I have a RTX 2080, so it's not the GPU that's old. I have tried resetting the preferences and I obviously have the "Use OpenGL" on.

I couldn't find and topic here about this and I don't know what to do.

I see the same problem in v22 and have raised a bug report here.

It got apparently got broken in the dot release for 22.0.1.

I'm downstairs on my old laptop now and was about to report it was working. Then I checked the version and saw this computer was still on 22.0.0. I updated and there is no ring in 22.0.1.

Thanks for confirming that it affects Macs as well as PCs Jane.
