I am doing a logo for use in a website.  I have created it, just two lines of text on a transparent background.  First of all, it wants to put in on a white background, and secondly, the file cannot be selected becaused it is grayed out and won't let me select it for upload to GoDaddy site.

Hi there,

Welcome to the Adobe Community!

Have you uploaded any EPS files onto GoDaddy site in the past? It might be possible that the website does not support EPS file format to be uploaded.

Have you tried exporting the file as a png and then try to upload and see if it works?

Regards,

Sahil

I don't know which file formats that GoDaddy accepts, but EPS is not a web file format. For a logo with a transparent background that is going to be used on a website, it would typically be saved as PNG.

JPG would not be a good choice because it does not support transparency.

I'd recommend keeping the EPS in case you ever need to print the logo.
