Which version of Photoshop is in question? Can you post some screenshot with Ps window and options you are reffering to?

Latest Update caused the problem -- see other postings - many complaints about the latest updates!

I re-installed previous version.

Hope it works!

Hi @ctsnowfighter

Choose File > Save a Copy to be able to save a JPEG.

“Only supported files that maintain your work will be supported in the Save As command. If the file type you’d like to save isn’t an option, simply go to Save a Copy and create another version in your desired file type.”

Thanks everyone --

Seems in reading some of this information on the support community - and forgive me if I am in error

1.  Adobe is trying to make a program compatible and working functionally with both Apple and Windows

2.  Two very different operating systems as far as I am aware -  so bound to be issues in compatibility

3.  Any consideration to split and have two versions - Apple and Windows?

4.  Maybe a bit of help in stating what the update does, fixes bugs and known issues is pretty vague and with today's issues, I think we all try our best to protect our systems and identity to the fullest.

I have to agree with many here making postings about the latest update - we were blindsided by trying to keep our program up to date and lost many of the (old) routines we are accustom too.

I also agree --  don't fix what is not broke!
