Fonts crash Photoshop

Hi all

I can no longer open .psd files that use fonts.

I can use files that do NOT use any fonts all fine.

As soon as I use any of the font related menus or functions... Photoshop packs in.

https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop/attempting-to-change-font-in-photoshop-2020-crashes-applica...

I followed some of this advice including moving fonts from the different font folders into tmp folder to see if this helps. But so far no luck.

This is happening on my iMac and on my MacBook Pro.

All after upgrading to the latest Photoshop version: 22.0.0

I thought I wait for the Big Sur update to see if anything changes. But it is still the same.

So everything is pointing at Photoshop. BTW: No issues in Illustrator and InDesign.

Anybody else has this issue? Any ideas how to get to the bottom of this?

Regards

Romano
