I am using old CS5 version of photoshop and never really had any issues for my usual photo editing needs. However, i have been facing glitching and crashing issues recently. I have had some window updates as well. Could anyone share what could be the issue?

You need to stop Windows from updating and revert back to the previous version of Windows.

CS5 was built for older Windows OS not current.

Windows updates will (eventually) break your CS5 completely.

When you are ready to purchase a plan that works with Windows 10, you can get the Photography plan. It's an annual plan and can be paid in a lump sum or in monthly installments:
