I created a simple drawing in procreate and imported in to photoshop. I am trying to fill that design but photoshop only wants to fill the outline. What do I need to do?

Sometimes I can fill it - sometimes I can’t. Is there a set way to fill it without creating new layers for each part? It’s not the drawing really, it’s the process I am looking for. Thank you!

Thank you so much! You make it look so easy but it won’t select all three places for me unless I create new layers for each space? Also can you fill without making a background because I can’t?

There are many way to make selections in photoshop. Selections can be converted to Paths. Paths can be edited. Paths can be converted to selections. You can select your png transparent Ctrl+Click thumbnail. To do what you want. Convert selection to Paths. I turned off the layers visibility so you can see the paths. Use the path selection tool. Edit the path and convert paths to selection. You may need to expand the selection some.
