Cannot figure out the scratch disk, have to spend 40 minutes to sign out and sign on and change passwords. I loved photoshop when I could own it, this is ridiculous. Regular people aren't programmers.

There's probably an issue with your setup rather than the application.

Which version of Photoshop and OS?

How much RAM and spare disk capacity?

Have you tried resetting your Photoshop preferences, which you can do under the General tab in Photoshop preferences?

How much free disk space do you have?

 

You need to realize that scratch disk requirements are real physical disk requirements. This isn't a virtual programming matter.
