Help: identify license plate

this guy hit my brother and smashed his car in road rage. Can anybody help identify the number plate of that green car

There isn’t any detail in the license plate. Have you given the photo to the police?

Is that really the only  size you have?  If it is a still from a video, then I  suppose 1080 pixels would be right, but if it was a still, and you have a higher res, then please paste it here full resolution.  We almost never get a good result from these requests, and we get a few in an average year, but this one looks like it might just  have a solution  _if_ you have it with a lot more pixels.    As Jane says, there is no chance of that happening as it stands.

It looks like the UK, so if the car was in a rush, it might have triggered a GATSO camera, so Jane's suggestion of going to the cops is worth a try.  They won't be interested unless it resulted in injury, so make a big deal of how hurt your brother was in the crash.

You could also ask if the petrol station would let you see their forecourt footage for the time period, if they have a camera that shows the  roundabout.  I imagine that the driver will avoid that route for a while, so you could stake out reasonable alternative  routes at the same time period in case  the car was  enroute to or from regular locations like work.

Thank you at the moment that’s the only one we have. The driver actually got out if his car and physically punched him in the face went back to his car and grabbed a metal rod and smashed his car. He then went back to his car and drive off. So we are definitely going to the cop, but when we got there they told us to come on Monda.

Trevor’s idea of talking to the gas station—or petrol station—is a good one. Tell them what the police said. You don’t want the video to get erased and reused because too much time has elapsed.

From my understanding, the use of the 'iron bar' on your brother makes it Grievous Bodily Harm, which the cops are surely obliged to put some effort into.  If they think the iron bar was only used on the vehicle, and a fist on your brother, then that would make it Actual Bodily Harm.    You'd think either offence would get the cop's full attention, but you hear stories, and read about them having to prioritise.  If your brother had laid down in the road, and waited for the ambulance,  then Mr Road Rage might already be in a cell.
