HELP MEEEE: PNG with transparent background

whenever I save a png image in photoshop and I will post or send it to someone, it will have a white background. I've seen several tutorials, but none work... can someone help me, please?

How are you saving it? Can you show. Screen shot during the save process, with your layer panel included? Are you saving it as a 24 bit and not as an I bit file?
