I am having issues with opening a gif in photoshop. When I preview them on my desktop, they look fine. But when I open them in photoshop theres random parts in all the frames but the first frame that are transparent. It is the same issue as this person had, but I noticed their wasnt a fix.

So I thought i'd bring this thread to the adobe community to see if theres any solutions.
*I'm using photoshop CC*
Thank you.

" So I downloaded this gif with the intent of making it loop better. However, when I opened it in Photoshop (CS5), all but the first frame lose a lot of their content, thus becoming this.
I downloaded the gif via multiple browsers to test if it was a download issue, same problem. Hard time googling the problem because it comes up with guides on how to create transparent gifs.
It's not the first time it's happened. Similar thing happened a while ago with a cat that dove underneath a cupboard. Is this a photoshop issue? Issue with the gif itself? etc? Any ideas on how to fix it?
Cheers. "

So I just found a solution, but am still curious if theres a proper solution.
My solution:
I opened it in https://ezgif.com/
and just convertered to a gif again.
then saved it.
