How do I remove transparent dots that I can't erase? Wacom Tablet & Photoshop 2020

Hi! I recently got a Wacom Intuos tablet and I was able to start using it with Photoshop 2020 on my Macbook. However, when I use the brush tool, these transparent dots of various sizes appear all over the screen, far away from wherever I'm drawing. When I try to erase them, more appear in other random places. Now, it happens even when I add text.

This started happening after I used the mirroring tool, but I've removed that.

If you need any more info for this to make any sense, please let me know!

Very strange behavior. I would suggest looking at your brush settings, but if it's happening with text, it's definately time to reset your preferences and see if that clears up the problem.
