Windows 10, Photoshop 22. I have an image that's opened in Photoshop as a smart Object. It has a few layers above it for cleanup and adjustments, an adjustment layer or two, and a Smart Filter. Ordinary image with normal post processing. Nothing wierd.
I need to expand the canvas and blend it using a content aware fill. Normally, my process would be to crop, expand the area, select the new area with a magic wand, expand the selection 4 - 6 px, then do a Fill with content-aware. Works perfectly and needs just a bit of tweaking sometimes....
BUT, with the SO I can't figure out how to do this, and I can't find anything online that shows anything like what I'm trying to do. I can add a layer, but the Fill says there aren't enough pixels to work. I can't fill the SO 'cause the Fill isn't available...
So, how DO I add content-aware filled space on the canvas with a Smart Object?
