How to change the painted Pen stroke path?

I have fiddled with filling the pen stroke path with, for example 20 px (blue)  / any color stroke path.

I noticed when I changed the anchor points afterwards, the ANYpx ANY Color stroke "brush" path does not change / move with it.   Any way to edit the position/color/shape of a filled pen path ?

Basically, how to edit the painted stroke ?    Position, color, thickness.

Seems to work for a shape, but not a path.

 Thanks

Stroking a Path is a raster (pixel) action, so is not linked to the path.  You'll need to delete the original or stroke again on a new layer.  There's a classic gotcha with this in that if you delete the original stroke (you need to use Ctrl a to select all before delting) and you still have the path selected, it will delete the path as well.  I woulddn't mind a dollar for every time I have done that!

Thank you, that is sinking in pretty quick.

I'll need to make sure It is the way I want it right then. I was
planning on drawing lines that I highlight (paint) and later slightly
adjust them.
