How to remove ACR 12.3 and return to ACR 12.2?(Not a newbie but I've never had to do this before.)

Hi, everyone.  I'm not sure if this is the right place for this question.  If there's a better, please tell me.  
I have been using Photoshop (CC)for a while.  I have found that the combination of Photoshop, Bridge, and ACR is ideal for the way I work or, let's say, was.  Now, however, with ACR 12.3 I'm completely 'at sea'.  I don't get it. 
I was reading an article yesterday by an advanced, long-time user, who said that he was not comfortable with 12.3 either and had switched back to 12.2.  Unfortunately, he did not say *how* he had done this.  
I found a page about Camera Raw Plug-In Installers. (link below).  Would it be the way to reinstall 12.2 and send 12.3 packing?
