I have never used Photoshop before and I busy learning and I therefore apologise for asking this question. I don`t know how to remove all of the background of this image. I have tried the tutorials but I am battling to remove all the smaller areas. If someone could inform me where on YouTube I will find a tutorial that covers this topic.

Regards

It is not possible to remove all backgrounds. You are a beginner to separate an object from its back requires that there be great contrast between the foreground and background.  That images does not have that. Search the web the should be downloads for that logo available.

As JJMack suggested, search the web. There are vector versions of the logo at https://seeklogo.com/free-vector-logos/liverpool

If you must use Photoshop, place the vector version as a smart object layer. However, I would recommend using Adobe Illustrator for working with vector objects.

Bear in mind there might be copyright issues for commercial reproduction of the image, if you are going to use the logo for commercial purposes it would be worth checking with the club.
