hi is there a way to set my resolution permanently in photoshop. 

My computer recently crashed, and lost everything..how to i reset my resolution to 300 permanently.  Thanks

What do you mean? There is no default resolution in Photoshop.

When you open an image in Photoshop it will just use the resolution of the image.

You can set a default resolution in Camera Raw but not in Photoshop as such.
