I am not even sure where to post this problem or am I just stupid but..

When-ever I try to take a free PNG photo from Google to photoshop - USUALLY AND NORMALLY 😄

The photo's squared background dissapears by default but in my case it just keeps the same..

And I tested it out with a bunch of other images.

I tried to google it everywhere - found nothing..

And quite frankly I am new to Macbook..

THIS IS THE SCREENSHOT OF THE MATTER: https://ibb.co/4KbsJbG

So please,

ASAP! HELP!

Sincerely,

Rom.

What happens if you save the image to your computer then, within Photoshop, you use File > Open and navigate to where you've saved your PNG?

I don't have a MAC, but on a PC you just have to disable the layer called "Background." Isn't that layer what's giving you the solid white?  Is MAC different for this issue somehow?

It looks like that image has been saved without transparency (i.e. the same as a screenshot). Do you have a link to the source?

Look in your Layers panel. This image has been saved with the squares and a white box around the crown. You’ll have to delete what you don’t want or find another image.

Hi

I just looked at your second link. The image says it is vector, but I don't see how to download it as vector, meaning as an Illustrator file (.ai) or an eps. The .png does not have transparency. I will be out of the office for a few hours, but maybe you can see how to download it instead of save it.

If you download it from this link, it has a transparent background

https://www.pinclipart.com/downpngs/hboTR_free-crown-png-clip-art-free-stock-queen/

You will need to change the image mode to RGB
