I can ONLY save gifs as optimized

Every time I make a gif, I click "export for web," then select the "original" tab. Then the gif saves in the right file size I need it to. But today, it just randomly started saving at the optimized size, no matter what I do. I've tried it on different gifs, closed PS and reopened it, even finally downloaded the update, nothing has fixed it. I've also discovered that even when I select the original option and then hit "preview" it gives me a preview of the optimized gif as well. Does anyone know what this could possibly be?
