I closed my pc with a photoshop file open and now the file won't open

I closed my pc with photoshop file open and now i have a " could not complete your request  because it is not a valid photoshot document" error. I´ve tried the suggestistions you have said here but with no sucess.

More than likely the file has become corrupt, what is the file extension on the file

The file extension is psd. i didn´t change nothing of that. I guess the problem It has to do with the fact i forced my pc to close yestarday. Maybe the document in photoshop it was not fully saved. What i know is that the file have that error and wont open with illustrator. If i change the extension nothing changes.

If you force closed your PC, your file is most likely corrupted.

Did you force close during a save process in Photoshop?

Backup your files and important work, it's such a simple thing to do yet so many people don't do it, incremental backups are best and also backup to external drives or the cloud.
