I have an image in PS 24.x36 inches. I made guides around it at that size. Then I want to enlarge the image .5 inches but keep the guides where they were. But when I enlarge the image the guides move to the new boundries of the image.
Is there a way to keep the guides from repositioning?
Thanks!

If your image is on the Background layer, Layer > New > Layer from Background. Use Image > Canvas Size to the desired final size, and then Edit > Treansform > Scale by the same amount. The Guides will stay put.
