I lose quality when I export layer

Hi I exported a text layer as a PNG with the highest quality settings. When I import it back, I loose quality and the shadows look different.

Could you please show a screen shot which shows how you are exporting your graphics.

I agree the text in your example image is pixelated. However, I would say everything looks pixelated to a similar degree. Could you elaborate a little more on what we are looking at. Is the text on top your original text and the text on the bottom re-imported text?

What it the final output for your image – web (or similar) or is it to be placed in say an InDesign document to be printed?
