Hi to everyone,

recently I have updated to the latest version of Photoshop CC, after the import of a generic PDF file it's impossibile to save the document and the software show me a pop-up saying: "Impossible to save the document sue to a software error".

If I cancel the document imported I can still use and save the document. I also try importing different type of other documens like PNG and JPEG, in that case I can save and the document works fine so I think the problem it's only with PDF.

Anyone as already solved this problem? I've searched for other topic like this and I've found only general topic with similar errors due to a option problems, I've already tried the solutions proposed and no one is actually working for me.

Please can someone help me?

Hi,

We're sorry about the trouble with Photoshop. Our product team is working on a fix for the program error. Meanwhile, you can try the steps suggested here: https://adobe.ly/2JZDqZB

If the issue persists, please roll back to the previous version of Photoshop using the steps suggested here: https://adobe.ly/2wH0JjE

Please uninstall the latest version of Photoshop first & select the option to Keep Preferences prior to installing the previous version.

Regards,

Nikunj

Hiding the layer worked but it's still strange. I would like to add to the solution a little trick for the other users, select all the things in the layer with the selection tool and create a copy, in that way you can keep the layer on.

I hope in a naxt update adobe will fix this issue

Didnt mean to post twice but did want to add that with my case, this is ONLY HAPPENING with tif files. psd and all other files are opening and saving just fine - but none of my tif files will save unless I hide all the layers which kind of defeats the purpose other than to just simply save the document.
