Incorrect operation of the "Selection and Mask" tool

In version 22.4.1, when using" Selection and Mask", the layer is not edited properly, the "Edge Detection" parameters do not work. All the tools actually highlight some area in the image.

That doesn't sound good. As the Edge Detection is not working as expected, could you please try resetting the preferences of Photoshop and let us know if it helps?

Hi,

I have already performed a factory reset and even reinstalled the program. The problem was solved as soon as I installed the older version-22.1
We checked it out with our team. Everyone who has updated the program to the latest version has the same problem
