Ipad Pro 9.7 White Mockup

Hi I have downloaded this mockup from the internet to display my portfolios but I cant quite work out how to fit a portrait image into it.

If anyone could give me some pointers it would be greatly appreciated.  I am not sure how big to make the original portrait image I am overlaying and do I use the free transform tool though that didnt seem to work or the skew function.  I am trying to make the image fit into the frame 😞

The advert states that the screen size is 4000 x 3000 pixels, you need to ensure the aspect ratio of your image is similar.
