iphone 12 photos import impossible

I cannot work with photoshop anymore - on my ipad pro ps declines importing iphone 12-photos, even if they are changed in jpeg. "Das Format wird nicht unterstützt". I cannot import which I had imported way earlier. Any ideas?

I have the same error, with all JPEG. Even with photos taken with the iPad or imported from a Camera. Pictures that worked before cannot be opened anymore...
