Is there a way to monitor color changes in an image I'm editing in real-time?

Hello all!

I've recently started following some of Sef Mccullough's awesome color grading and retouching tutorials, which are totally awesome. While working through some of his color grading workflows I found myself wondering if there was a way to monitor specific points in an image real-time while making color grading adjustments.

For example, say I sample 5 different points in an image and import them into the Color Themes panel so that I can see how the colors are relating to each other on a color wheel. So, I'd like to use the arrangement of these colors on the color wheel to help make decisions about how to better harmonize an image (like pushing the colors in the image to more of a complimentary, monochromatic, triadic, etc). Obviously, there are a lot of tools I can use to make color adjustments, but what would be really helpful is if the points I sampled in the first step moved on the color wheel real-time as I make an adjustment.
Is anyone aware of a workflow or tool that would support something like this?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the shoutout! And sorry, just ran across this. By your question, it's clear that you are totally getting the workflow which is great to hear. That would be really really cool but I'm not aware of a way to currently do that. If you figure something out, can you please share at my fb group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/everydayphotoshop or Discord team: https://discord.gg/MfKTWME - Thanks!
