Since the new update, I can't save my files as JPEG. The option is not even there, anyone else?

If your file contains items that are not supported in your required format (e.g. layers or 16 bits/channel) then the file format is moved to the Save as Copy menu. This is to prevent users from inadvertently losing layers etc.

and breaks a lot of actions.....

actually this "flatten and convert to 8 bit when choosing JPG as fileformat" was a promoted improvement in a PS update a few years ago.

a "just do it feature" or how adobe called these workflow enhancements.

a way to speed up the workflow.
now adobe decided it is too unsafe for all the new smartphone users they want to attract.
we need to make this idiot proof. lets move it to yet another save dialog. two of them plus an export to web dialog are not enough.

every update from adobe cost me at least a day of work.
because they either change how stuff works or they break stuff.

it is annoying as hell.....
