This new update is a disaster - it may have fixed existing bugs BUT has also added new bugs!! Every time I try to use Brightness/Contrast the program becomes unresponsive and I have to force quit.

Please fix.

Hello, please go to your Creative Cloud app, and run the update so that you have Photoshop 21.2 installed, as this issue is fixed, according to this help document: Find issues fixed in the latest release of Photoshop

Following this thread as the Color Balance aslo causes this issue.  I have rolled back to PS 21.1.2 and the problem is gone...but lost my workspaces and my brush presets in the process.  Adobe needs to fix this asap.

Can someone confirm that the latest Photoshop build is crashing/freezing on the Image > Adjustment > Brightness/Contrast... control?

Hello,

the Hue / Saturation or Brightness / Contrast options generate a Photoshop freeze. In the same document the day before the update of 5/19/2020 that problem did not happen.

Photoshop version is: 21.1.3 for MAC

MacOS MOJAVE 10.14.6
the computer is an IMAC 2019 - Processor 3.1 Ghz Intel Core i5, Memory: 64 GB

Thank you ,

I just discovered this issue; apparently it's still ongoing after a few weeks.  I just tried cmd-R to remove the rulers and THAT isn't working either.

Hiding the rulers or moving the dialog box off the main work are usually solves the problem. If for some reason it does not, apply Hue/Saturation as an Adjustment Layer. You get the same controls and you evade the problem until a fix comes out.

Hello, I have recently upgraded my system to the latest version of Catalina: 10.15.5
The moment I did that, the Hue Saturation function on Adobe Photoshop crashed the app.

Just to give the follow-through:

CMD + U (the hue/saturation box opens)

Once you start to move the arrows (hue, saturation or lightness), once you reach +4, it crashes.

Anyone having the same experience?

Thank you!
