Lost Ability To Use Fonts

Opened PS this morning and every time I attempt to ad a line of text to an image I an told that that font failed in it's last attempt and I am unable to type the line of characters...  What am I doing wrong or do I simple need to uninstall and reinstall PS?@

Assuming PS is Photoshop, you're in the wrong forum. Moving this to Photoshop general

you have not given us very much information, such as version of Photoshop, platform or operating system, but if it is Windows try going to

C:\Users\<profile name>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2017\CT Font Cache

and deleting the 'Font Cache' folder.
