We have tried for a fortnight to open ps in bs on an m1 mac
Sent logs, spoke to adobe tech and senior engineers - no answer, no work around and more significantly no apology from these arrogant developers who did not properly test such a widely used app.
So, best advice. Look for alternatives to open and use your ps files, since adobe are incapable of cleaning up their own mess.

Your information is rather perfunctory.

Can you state which (exact) version of Photoshop and OS?
Have you tried resetting the Photoshop preferences, which you can do under the General tab in Photoshop preferences?

How much RAM and spare disk capacity do you have?

Consider using the Adobe Cleaner Tool to remove the application and reinstall it.
