Hello,
I've been using photoshop for about 8 months now and have noticed very frequent crashes and errors. At first it was rare, but now it seems that the more I use photoshop, the more consistent these errors occur. At this point, its about a 50/50 chance that my work either wont save due to an error, or my documents become blackscreened and I'm unable to see or edit them.
I tried manually saving every so often to prevent this from happening, but my most recent incident proved that even autosave won't protect my documents anymore. After working on a design for 5+ hours, my file decided to go blackscreen. The work was spaced out throughout the day, so sure enough, autosave should have been there to save at least some of the work. But yet again, the file was still not appearing even after closing and re-opening the app.
However, this time around, all my work for that day had vanished, nowhere to be found. The original document was there, but it was blank white, proving all the work I had done just dissapeared with the document still intact. I scoured my entire computer hoping maybe it got placed somewhere else, but there was nothing. I'm starting to find this platform more and more unreliable each time I use it.
I doubt there's anything that can be done about the severeity of these issues, but if theres any insight on what is happening, please let me know. Thank you.
