Problems that only occured after updating to 22.4.1. Updating to 22.4.2 did not resolve the issues:
Loading large (360 MB) TIF file is slow-timed at 26:54:90 for a 361 MB photo.
Memory error when saving to JPG (I can save to other formats without the error).
Could not import the clipboard because of a program error.
----
I am running:
Windows 10.0.19041.928
16 GB system memory
6 GB on graphics card
See attached for more details.
----
I have tried:
Changing Photoshop memory to 85% in preferences
Changing scratch disks (attached file-M: is SSD)
Trying with different Graphics processor settings, with and without using GP, & different cache levels.
Testing system memory
Testing & Optimizing drives
Uninstalling and reinstalling Photoshop
Ran resourse monitor and the only time memory usage seems to go above 50% is when opening Photoshop. Then it goes back down. Photoshop itself does not seem to open any slower than usual.
Ideas?
Thanks for any help.

What kind of compression was used on the TIFF file? Saving and loading uncompressed files (TIFF and PSD) is significantly faster despite the extra size on disk.
On the other issues - you do not mention resetting preferences (uninstall/reinstall does not necessarily reset preferences)

Thanks for your reply Dave.
I did reset preferences prior to trying the uninstal/reinstall. Sorry for not being more clear.
All my TIFF files are uncompressed.
The errors and slowdowns only started with the 22.4.1 update from Photoshop.
I keep hoping I've just missed something simple!
Thanks for the thoughts.
