More accurate Photoshop histogram display

Suggestion for improvement of Photoshop:

The histogram in Photoshop is outdated. With any minor change of an image I need to click on the triangle in the histogram display to get an accurate histogram. Why not have a similar option for the histogram display as in for instance the curves adjustment layer to "calculate a more accurate histogram" (the icon with the crown andwarning triangle).
