My photoshop cs6 says upgrade needed and won't work [How to install CS6 on Catalina?]

I'm unable to use photoshop cs6 anymore (with Catalina maC OS) , it says upgrade needed?

The message is misleading.

There is no way to install CS6 on Catalina. That is an Apple thing, not Adobe. There are no workarounds unfortunately.

You'll need to subscribe to the Cloud version of Photoshop to run it on Catalina.
