My tablet won't work with Adobe Photoshop CS6

I recently got a Parblo A610 and started using it. It works okay in Paint Tool Sai but I decided to give Adobe Photoshop a try. It worked for the first few minutes but then it started glitching and wouldn't let me draw. I uninstalled the tablet drivers and reinstalled them and then it started working just fine for the remainder of the time I was on. I shut down my computer (but I closed Photoshop beforehand so it wouldn't be corrupted), but when I logged back on the next morning, it was back to where it was before. It wouldn't let me draw or erase with my pen. Whenever I move the pen across my drawing tablet, instead of drawing, it moved the bar up and down but didn't move the canvas. The express keys are also not working with Photoshop. Is there any way to fix this?

Hi JuliaRose1990,

Could you please let us know the operating system you are using? Please take a look at this article Cannot paint with stylus when zoomed in on image | Windows 10 if using Windows 10.

If not so, please refer the below help articles as per your OS:-

Menus, shortcuts, Lasso tool, or Photoshop stop working when using a Wacom tablet | Mac OS

Tablet support for Photoshop on Windows 8

Let us know if that helps.

Thanks,

Akash

Also, whenever I tap my pen lightly on my tablet, it creates dots in photoshop, but whenever I try to make a line, nothing appears.

I have a Windows 10 and the paintbrush tool doesn't work regardless of whether I'm zoomed in or out. None of those articles helped me, unfortunately.

I have the same problem. Photoshop allows me to create lines using a mouse, but doesn't with my drawing tablet.

I still can't find a soloution.

I've been struggling with this problem since early this year, after Windows 10's April update. It seems to be related to that. You probably won't have the same issues on an earlier version of Windows, but I have not found a solution to this problem on Windows 10. It's not a problem shared by Krita, though, so as a workaround, you could draw and paint in Krita, which is free, and come back to Photoshop for editing and text and filter effects.

I found a solution. If you go into "Edit", then "Preferences", then "General", you should find something on the top saying Color Picker. Just change that from Adobe to Windows and it should work.
