Não consigo salvar meu arquivo em PNG

Gente, como faço para corrigir isso, salvo meu aquivo em PNG e quando abro ele, ele está como JPG.

Tudo que estou salvando como PNG abre como JPG. Alguém sabe como reverter isso?

Não aparece nenhum erro na tela, eu clico em salvar como, seleciono a opção PNG, mas quando envio o arquivo ele fica como JPG. Não consigo identificar o por que.

Does the image have the »png«-extension? 

How exactly does it look like a jpg?

Eu salvei essa imagem com o fundo transparente, em PNG, e quando vou olhar ela nos arquivos ela está como JPG e com fundo branco.

The image you posted in not a png but a jpg, what are you doing?
